Single and Double Serpentine Boiler Periodic Inspection

Single and Double Serpentine Boiler Periodic Inspection

The boiler, which is in the class of pressure vessels, is the kettle in its simplest terms and it is a compact tool which provides heating and storage of water. It has a mechanical device for storing water from different heat sources and using it when needed. They use steam boiler, solar collector, heat pump, hot water boiler or electric heater as heat source.

Single serpentine boilers are the devices used to obtain the hot water continuously and to transfer the heat obtained by the use of one of the solar or boiler heating systems to the domestic water with the help of the serpentine. Electric heater can be optionally installed as second energy source.

Double serpentine boilers are the devices used to transfer the heat obtained from solar collectors to the domestic water with the help of the lower serpentine. In cases where solar energy is not sufficient, the heat obtained from the boiler or boiler is transferred to the domestic water with the help of upper serpentine. Electric heater can be optionally installed as third energy source. For example, in solid, liquid and gas fueled boilers or in boilers using solar energy and waste energy, double coil boilers are used.

Boilers are mostly used in restaurants, cafes, hotels, hospitals, construction sites and sports halls. It is used by connecting to the hot water in the system, solar collector or steam boiler in the places that need hot water. The internal surfaces of the boilers in contact with water are galvanized or made of stainless steel and insulated with serpentine against heat losses. It is managed automatically with automatic control tools according to usage areas.

In order to prevent possible dangers during their use and to protect the safety of employees and property of the company in case of an accident, it is necessary to have regular maintenance of the painters. The Occupational Health and Safety Law and the Regulation on Health and Safety Conditions in the Use of Work Equipment have also set out the health and safety conditions that must be complied with in relation to the use of all work tools and equipment used in the workplaces.

Single and double serpentine neckers are included in the pressure vessels and installations group within the scope of the Regulation. Periodic inspections and hydrostatic tests should be done at least once a year. During these tests, if there is no contrary provision in the standards, 1,5 times the operating pressure is applied.
