GMP Good Manufacturing Practices System

GMP Good Manufacturing Practices System

With the globalization, it has become increasingly important to provide high quality, hygienic services and products in health, pharmaceutical and food sectors. Thus, there is a need to change the quality control and certification systems, which are also important for public health.

Today, many institutions and organizations especially in the health sector prefer tercih Good Manufacturing Practices (IUU) gelişmiş which includes advanced quality-hygiene control methods and certification systems that can be easily adapted to the working systems. The first field of use of IUU is the food sector and includes practices related to hygiene and quality management.

In recent years, awareness of the protection of human health has started to be reflected in the production stages of all kinds of goods and services. As a result, IUU has been used in different sectors over time and has become a sought-after reference in international trade.

Good manufacturing practices are a quality control system that controls the production, storage, distribution and delivery of pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, food and veterinary preparations to consumers and can be easily implemented in many different sectors.

The EU's Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) applications started with the Cosmetic Regulation adopted in 2010. In all Member States and Candidate Countries, organizations producing cosmetics are obliged to comply with the provisions of this Regulation. Our country has also started this practice. Accordingly, GMP Certificate is sought both for cosmetic products to be produced and exported in our country and for products that will be imported and offered for sale from foreign countries.

The GMP Good Manufacturing Practices System has standards to improve the reliability of all processes, from production to distribution and distribution of products that directly affect human health, such as pharmaceuticals, food, cosmetics and medical devices, under the desired conditions and systems. The Turkish Standards Institute provides GMP Certification services by the Chemical Sector Certification Department of the Product Certification Center.

TSE issues certificates within the scope of TS EN ISO 22716 / 2013 Cosmetics, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Good Manufacturing Practices Guide, if requested by companies serving in the cosmetic sector both inside and outside the country.

Producer companies who want to obtain a certificate for their products can obtain GMP Good Manufacturing Practices System Certificate if they are entitled to receive certificates at the production sites and at the end of the controls on the substances, products and products they produce.

The GMP Good Manufacturing Practice System ensures that not only the production and distribution conditions of the product, but also the quality in all aspects of the products, the entry into production as raw material, the processing, the design, production, packaging, storage and distribution of the product, ensures that all stages comply with the specified standard.

The GMP System is the basic quality approach for a healthy production in the food and pharmaceutical industry. The company deals with all aspects of production companies, not only employees or products. The site, its relations with the environment, the machines and equipment used, the production processes, the qualifications of the employees and the characteristics of the raw material used determine the quality and reliability of the all-in-one.
The GMP Good Manufacturing Practices System, which includes production activities especially in the pharmaceutical and food sector, was later adopted as a cosmetic law, and the detergent and cleaning products were included in the cosmetic category, including the cosmetics industry.

All production processes should be reviewed and clearly identified, products must always be produced in accordance with the required standards, critical steps and changes to be made in the production processes must be approved, and all facilities required for a good Manufacturing Practices System must be provided.

Within the scope of the system, the staff should be qualified and trained, production facilities should be suitable for production, there should be suitable machinery and equipment for production, correct materials should be used in production, work flow principles and application instructions should be prepared, appropriate storage areas for products should be provided and transportation works should be done with correct methods. employees must be trained to comply with workflows and application instructions; records must be kept during production that demonstrate that activities are in accordance with workflows and application instructions and that the products are of the expected quality.

In addition, deviations in production must be recorded, records maintained must be accessible, the distribution of products must be done in a way that is free from any risk that will affect their quality, products should be recalled for any reason, an order that allows this to be established, the future of the products released a system must be established to address complaints.

Firms that establish and run the GMP Good Manufacturing Practices System gain much more reputation in the market than other companies, increase their prestige and gain competitive advantage. In addition to this, since its activities have entered into a standard and the necessary legal regulations will be complied with, it will always be prepared for the inspections of the Ministry of Health.
