Hydrophore Periodic Inspection

Hydrophore Periodic Inspection

To put it in its simplest form, booster sets are pumps designed to deliver water to distant locations. They transport the water in a water tank to distant places with the help of air. When the city water pressure is not sufficient, it is used to obtain pressurized water in high buildings. They increase the pressure of the water flowing from the tap.

The characteristics of the booster to be found in the structure are shaped according to the characteristics of the building. Depending on the number of apartments, the area where the booster will be placed, the distance between the apartments where the water will be fed and the booster, and the length of the pipes going horizontally or vertically, different installation should be done. The capacity of the booster is adjusted according to the flow rate of the water and the height at which the water will emerge and the desired flow rate.

The general purpose of booster is to switch on and off automatically without bothering the user. When you turn on a tap, the water in the network will start to fall and the pressure switch on the pump balances the pressure as soon as it senses it. When you close the tap, the pump stops automatically when the mains pressure reaches the upper pressure you set.

The width of the installation area, the properties of the water, the characteristics of the electrical network, the humidity and temperature conditions and even the noise level of the booster are important points in the selection of the booster and using the right booster in the right place and in order to achieve the expected benefit. However, in addition to this, another important point is to have regular controls done.

Hydrophores without periodic inspection can become highly dangerous devices because it is one of the mechanisms that use the high pressure principle in the booster. Therefore, hydrophores that are not inspected periodically may pose a danger to life and property safety in buildings.

In accordance with the Occupational Health and Safety Law No. 6331, periodical inspection of booster units is obligatory. In the article entitled Health and Safety Conditions of Work Equipment issued on the basis of this law, pressure boilers are included in the group of compressed air tanks. The booster must be periodically inspected at least once a year, unless another period is specified in the relevant standards.

The inspections and inspections to be carried out annually for booster sets must be carried out by mechanical engineers, machine technicians or high technicians. Their information should be recorded in the electronic system of the Ministry of Labor and Social Security. In case of conformity as a result of such controls, a report is issued that the booster works safely and that it is safe to use. This report is valid for audits to be carried out by the auditors of the Ministry of Labor and Social Security.
