AS 9100 has been designed with the awareness that security is the most important issue in the aerospace industry. It is said that the rules of aviation are written in blood and therefore the probability of error in aviation is expected to be zero. Therefore, quality and risk-based are the most important factors among the requirements of the standard. 

The risk approach requires a general approach to how various risks are perceived and understood. Risk management studies are used to determine what the enterprise understands from risks and how to assess them. A general framework must be drawn up to identify risks.

According to the results of the analysis, all risks identified should be evaluated and included in a priority order. In this study, the risks to be addressed according to the analyzed risks and their significance should be defined in a matrix.
