RoHS Certificate

What Does RoHS Standard Coverage Include?

The RoHS directive, the first version of which was published in 2003, imposes the obligation not to use harmful elements and chemicals in production. The RoHS directives in force in the EU countries were revised in 2013.

There are two practices that form the New Legal Framework to enhance and strengthen market surveillance and control, strengthen product conformity assessment and enhance the reliability of the CE marking:

- Regulation on market accreditation and market surveillance of products 765 / 2008 / EC
- Decision on the general framework of the introduction of products 768 / 2008 / EC

The New Directive (RoHS 2) includes all of the EEEs by including a new 1 category in addition to the 8 category covered by the old directive (RoHS3). RoHS 8 will be applied to EEEs in the 2 category and will be applied to the new categories within the gradual process.

Restrictions on the elements and chemical substances in the first directive that pose a danger to human health and environmental conditions continue. The first version of the RoHS directive covered eight categories. The new version of the RoHS directive has added three new categories to these categories and all electrical and electronic equipment are covered.
