Food Safety is a scientific system cycle that defines the processing, preparation, storage and delivery of food to end consumers, preventing biological, physical and chemical factors that cause foodborne diseases.

FSSC 22000 Certificate standard includes ISO 22002-1 and Pas 223 standards and ISO 22000, Gmp, Haccp, Brc, GlobalGap standards. In this respect, it is the most comprehensive food safety standard. FSSC 22000 is a globally recognized standard and a recognized standard. Firms applying the ISO 22000 standard may certify this standard with some additional clauses.

One of the most important features of FSSC 22000 is that the purpose of its creation is applicable only to food manufacturers. FSSC 22000 has been developed specifically for food safety management systems owned by food manufacturers producing the following products.

FSSC 22000 Food Safety Management System certificate companies must first apply ISO 22000 and PAS 220 standards. PAS 220 standard TSE ISO / TS 22002-1 prerequisite programs in food safety - Food production standard has been published in our country. 

At this stage, it is necessary to implement the system for a period of time and to perform possible corrective and preventive actions by conducting internal audits and to eliminate nonconformities. After this point, a certificate can now be applied to a certification body to request a certificate.
At this stage, first and second stage audits will be carried out by the certification body. If there are any nonconformities identified during these inspections, they should be corrected immediately.

The certification process is generally as follows.

1. ISO 22000 & PAS 220 (ISO22002-1) implementation,
2.FSSC Implementation of 22000 food safety management system,
3.Internal audit and closure of nonconformities,
4.Certification certified by the board, auditing in the right scope, (signed contract)
5.Minor and Major nonconformities and corrective actions,
6.Report and approval of the document. (With FSSC logo)
